Description

Easy and healthy banana oatmeal bars, perfect for a nutritious snack.


Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 1/2 cup nut butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips or nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
  3. Stir in the rolled oats, cinnamon, honey or maple syrup, nut butter, and salt until well combined.
  4. If desired, fold in chocolate chips or nuts.
  5. Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the bars are golden brown.
  7. Let them cool before cutting into bars. Enjoy your healthy snack!
