- 2 ripe bananas
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup (optional)
- 1/2 cup nut butter
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup chocolate chips or nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
- Stir in the rolled oats, cinnamon, honey or maple syrup, nut butter, and salt until well combined.
- If desired, fold in chocolate chips or nuts.
- Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the bars are golden brown.
- Let them cool before cutting into bars. Enjoy your healthy snack!
